The client provided examples of what had been previously used, which was no more than text art created in Microsoft Word. The client was open to suggestions for the new logo, only requiring the school colors be included:  gold & purple.

I decided to keep the font simple, clean & modern so that the image quality wouldn't be sacrificed when reduced to a smaller size. I added a golden swoop that acts as a crossbar for the letter "t" in three words, which also connects with a compass rose. This imagery suggests one will not become lost and is a reflection of the shooting stars
that emerge from this establishment.
