THEODOR SEUSS GEISEL
CORPORATE IDENTITY
More widely known as Dr. Seuss, Theodor Seuss Geisel was also a fine artist in secret. It wasn't until after his death that his fine art was revealed to the public. This project is a posthumous re-branding for him as a fine artist, rather than an illustrator for children's books. The project includes logo development, corporate stationery & graphic standards manual.
A new logo was developed for him, which was inspired by his lifelong alter-ego, commonly identified as the Cat in the Hat.

The business card, letterhead & envelope designs below were styled to reflect his own, which can be found re-occurring throughout his paintings and drawings.
To ensure the brand is properly handled, a graphic standards manual was developed, which deconstructs and identifies all elements of the graphics, colors and logotype, as well as listing any usage limitations. The book was printed in a landscape format and spiral bound with a clear plastic protective cover.
