The arts have always been deeply embedded in my everyday life. In fact, this passion has been with me since I was in grade school. It was Disney’s The Little Mermaid that inspired me to become an artist. I engulfed myself in art books, explored various mediums, joined art clubs, and enrolled in advanced studio art classes.

 

Initially, I pursued a major in Fine Arts at Illinois State University with a vision of becoming an animator. However, after exploring various creative fields I eventually discovered my true calling was graphic design. I later completed my degree at the Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumburg, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

 

ART & BRAND DIRECTOR BY DAY
I am a passionate and innovative creative with over 20 years of experience in graphic design. Today, I am a Visual Communications Consultant for an international consulting agency, working primarily within the public sector. In my prior role I served over 11 years as the Art & Brand Director for a prestigious awards manufacturer. My longest commitment has been to freelance design on the side, specializing in corporate identity, branding, publication design, illustration and special event collateral.

 

I have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to create visually compelling designs for both digital and print platforms. I utilize strong leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills to consistently deliver high-quality and impactful visual solutions.
 

FINE ARTIST BY NIGHT
I love to create things. My preferred medium is oil paint, but I also do acrylic paintings, hand drawings, digital photography & sculptures. Most of my original pieces are available for purchase, as well as prints through my shop.

 

I work with all budgets, so do not hesitate to contact me with inquiries and commissions. Regardless of the project, I find it exciting to witness the progression of designs coming to life from a simple concept to its full fruition.
